I feel like I have so much to blog about and share since I
have neglected the blog during the early part of 2014. Staying consistent
with the blog has definitely been a challenge for me but now that I have some time to catch up and I’m glad to be back.
We were very honored to have been asked to plan this very
pretty in pink baptismal celebration for a sweet little girl, Charlotte Belle.
Charlottte’s parents contacted us for help in planning and designing for their little girl’s first celebration. Our inspiration for
Charlotte’s party was really focused on a piece of fabric – in fact it was a
shower curtain I found while window shopping at Kohl’s. Yes, it’s true that you
can find party inspiration everywhere even with your shower curtains. I really
like the ruffle detailing on the curtain that offered so much feminine details
along with the ombre pink color palette -- I knew it was the perfect backdrop
for Charlotte’s dessert set up.
Some of our favorites from Charlotte’s party included:
-
Dainty floral centerpieces in mason jars filled
with ranunculus and dahlias.
-
Giant pink balloons (I’m obsessed with these!!)
with an ombre pink tassel garlands as accent provided the perfect whimsy for
this event
-
The wishing tree where guests got to write their
prayers, blessings and hopes for Charlotte as she gets older.
-
Dessert table filled with some yummy treats from
French macarons courtesy of Merely Sweets, mini fruit tarts and cheese rolls
from Porto’s and some yummy s’mores and Oreo cookies handcrafted by one of Charlotte's family
member.
Our special thank you to the Quitangon family for choosing
us to be a part of Charlotte’s baptismal celebration. She is such a blessed
little girl that is loved by many.
